That's kind of the whole point. The best rhythm sections don't ask permission — they just keep going, steady, underneath everything else, whether or not anyone's paying attention. Most of the important stuff in our lives works the same way. Signals, cycles, the version of us that keeps showing up. Nobody auditioned us for that either. We just kept the beat.
